Abstract:
In an electrostatic separation apparatus and a magnetic separation apparatus, an aggregate being present in the mixed powder of particles is dispersed before an electric charge or magnetism is imparted to the particles for the purpose of separating a mixed powder containing particles having different characteristics. Specifically, such a dispersing operation is performed by the use of an ejector, a pipe or the like under a high dispersion condition, and then, particles having different characteristics are separated in an electrostatic separation apparatus or a magnetic separation apparatus.
