Abstract:
Provided is a method for separating heavy metals from glass at a low cost and in an efficient manner. The method for separating heavy metals from glass is provided with a step for vaporizing and separating heavy metals as chlorides by means of baking glass powder containing heavy metals at 900-1400°C in the presence of a chlorinating agent, and the baking is performed in the presence of a hydroxide.
