Abstract:
It is intended to provide a method whereby an oxidatively injured guanine compound and a substance correcting the concentration of the oxidatively injured guanine compound can be efficiently analyzed and an analyzer to be used in performing this method. Namely, a method characterized by comprising: the step of purifying a oxidatively injured guanine compound contained in a sample which is formed by injuring guanine in a DNA, an RNA or a nucleotide; the step of measuring a substance correcting the concentration of the oxidatively injured guanine compound contained in the sample with a UV detector; and the step of measuring the oxidatively injured guanine compound with a detector to thereby simultaneously analyzing the oxidatively injured guanine compound and the substance correcting the concentration of the oxidatively injured guanine.
