Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a pyrolysis method capable of efficiently decomposing methane into hydrogen and acetylene. The present disclosure relates to a method for simultaneously producing hydrogen and acetylene through methane pyrolysis, comprising the steps of: injecting a plasma-forming gas into a triple torch plasma jet device, and applying an input voltage, thereby generating a plasma jet; injecting a methane gas into the plasma jet, and pyrolyzing same, thereby preparing hydrogen and acetylene; and cooling hydrogen and acetylene and collecting by-products, undecomposed methane gas, hydrogen and acetylene.
