Abstract:

A method of smoking and drying lumber, in which waste lumber (7) is packed in a furnace (1) in a refractory chamber to be subjected to incomplete combustion by means of air conditioning, and smoke and heat are convected between lumber materials (9) placed in sticker piling to smoke and dry the lumber materials at a low temperature, and which minimizes warp and crack in the lumber materials, is simple and requires less fuel cost.
