Abstract:

A method for solving for converter valve states and valve currents based on valve-side current timing characteristics. The process is as follows: acquiring valve-side three-phase alternating currents, direct currents, and converter valve trigger pulses of direct current power transmission system converters; establishing a node current equation between the alternating and direct currents and valve currents; upon detection of the rising edge of a converter valve trigger pulse, latching the serial number of the corresponding converter valve; performing connected and disconnected valve state identification according to the converter valve trigger pulses, amplitude characteristics of the alternating currents, and characteristics of alternating current change amounts, so as to solve for valve states; constructing a valve state matrix; determining whether each phase is in a bypassed state; determining the number of bypassed phases by solving for the sum of valve bypass states of three phases; supplementing a bypass loop voltage equation; solving for converter valve currents; when the calculated value of a valve current is negative, correcting the corresponding valve state to be "disconnected" according to unilateral conductivity of the converter valve, otherwise, performing no correction; and repeating the above steps again to calculate the valve current.
