METHOD FOR STABILIZING SCENT COMPONENT, FRAGRANCE COMPOSITION, AND DEODORIZING COMPOSITION

　The purpose of the invention is to provide a method that makes it possible to prevent the deterioration (oxidation, decomposition, etc.) of various types of scent components, for example, fragrances and other such aroma components or unsaturated fatty acids and other such odor-causing components, a fragrance composition that prevents the deterioration (stabilizes) a fragrance, and a deodorizing composition capable of preventing the deterioration of unsaturated fatty acids. This method for preventing the deterioration of a scent component is characterized by causing D-glucopyranosyl glycerol to be jointly present with a scent component. Examples of the scent component include fragrances and unsaturated fatty acids. This fragrance composition is characterized by containing at least one type of fragrance and D-glucopyranosyl glycerol as an active ingredient to prevent the deterioration of the fragrance, and the deodorizing composition of the invention is characterized by containing D-glucopyranosyl glycerol as an active ingredient to prevent the deterioration of saturated fatty acids.
