Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to shorten a time until an operation to fill a beverage is started or a time between production. In a method for sterilizing a beverage filling device provided with a beverage supplying system pipe that supplies a beverage into a filling machine via a heating and sterilizing unit, a heated liquid or heated steam is supplied to the beverage supplying system pipe, the lowest temperature is selected from detected temperatures while the temperatures at a plurality of spots of the beverage supplying system pipe are detected for each prescribed time, an F-value is calculated with respect to the selected lowest temperature, the calculated F-value is added up, and a sterilizing step is ended when the added F-value reaches a target value.
