Abstract:
This method for attaching a filler tube comprises: steps (S2, S3) of preparing a fuel tank (10) and an interposed member (40); a step (S1) of preparing a filler tube (30) provided with a tubular tube body (31) and an annular tube flange (32); steps (S4, S5) of causing a member body (41) to be disposed in the interior through an opening (11) of the fuel tank (10), and disposing the interposed member (40) on an outward peripheral surface (12) of the opening (11) of the fuel tank (10) so as to cause a member flange (42) to interlock; and steps (S6-S10) of disposing a hot plate (60) in an opposed space between the outward peripheral surface (12) and the tube flange (32), warming the temperature of the outward peripheral surface (12), the member flange (42), and the tube flange (32), welding together the outward peripheral surface (12) and the tube flange (32), and welding together the member flange (42) and the tube flange (32).
