Abstract:
A method for submerged arc welding at an inclined position, comprising the following steps: performing local surface treatment on two sides of a groove of a plate (1) to be welded, and removing iron rust, water, and oil stains; attaching a liner (3) to the back side of the plate (1) to be welded, the included angle between the plate (1) to be welded and a horizontal plane being 5-15°; and first starting welding from the front side of the plate (1) to be welded by using CO2 semi-automatic welding, then using uphill welding of submerged arc welding for filling, and finally using downhill welding of submerged arc welding for covering. During welding, a welding wire (2) is perpendicular to the plate (1) to be welded. The included angle between the plate (1) to be welded and the horizontal plane is 5-15°. The plate (1) to be welded is pre-welded by means of CO2 semi-automatic welding, then filling is performed by means of uphill welding of submerged arc welding so that weld joints can be filled quickly, and finally downhill welding of submerged arc welding is used for covering so that the flatness and smoothness of the surfaces of the weld joints can be guaranteed.
