Abstract:
Provided is a tritium substitution method having: a process (101) in which an organic substance, which comprises at least one from among an organic acid, an organic acid having an organic acid alkali salt, water-soluble amino acid, and water-soluble amino acid alkali salt added thereto, an organic acid alkali salt, a water-soluble amino acid, and a water-soluble amino acid alkali salt, is inserted into water contaminated with a radioactive substance including tritium; and a tritium substitution process (103) in which fine bubbles are made to circulate (102) in the contaminated water into which the organic substance has been inserted, and a reaction whereby hydrogen at a carboxylic acid group α-position is substituted with tritium via the interface of the fine bubbles is induced to generate a tritium-substituted product.
