Abstract:
In a microchip comprising a reagent placement area that fixes an anaerobic antibody, the invention enables an anaerobic reagent to be stably supplied to the reagent placement area without contact with air. An inlet (13a) and outlet (13b) that communicate with a flow channel (14) comprising the reagent placement area are closed by a self-repairing encapsulant (17) comprising a thin plate portion (11a) and a silicon gel with a self-repairing function. To supply the reagent to the microchip (10), a fluid release means (21) that comprises an aperture (21a) with a tip portion that is a fluid release opening and is formed in a needle shape, and a fluid recovery means (22) that comprises an aperture (22a) with a tip portion that is a fluid recovery opening and is formed in a needle shape are advanced into a space comprising the reagent placement space, passing through the thin plate portion (11a) and the self-repairing encapsulant (17). The reagent is injected from the fluid release means (21), and the injected reagent is drained from the fluid recovery means (22), thereby supplying the reagent to the space of the reagent placement area of the microchip (10).
