Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention provides a method for supporting improvement of sleep, the method regularly supplying, through oral or nasal inhalation, air containing hydrogen at a high concentration to provide a superior effect on sleep. The present invention also provides an electrolytic hydrogen generator appropriate for carrying out said method. [Solution] In this method for supporting improvement of sleep, a portable electrolytic hydrogen generator that emits, at a desired time, air containing hydrogen at a high concentration from a nozzle part is continuously used to supply, through oral or nasal inhalation, air containing hydrogen at a high concentration from the nozzle part of the electrolytic hydrogen generator. Also provided is a portable electrolytic hydrogen generator used for this method for supporting improvement of sleep. This electrolytic hydrogen generator comprises an operation means which can be operated being gripped with a single hand. Power supply from a battery to the positive and negative electrodes and stop of the power supply are controlled by a control board through one operation of the operation means. Said control includes control wherein power is supplied for a predetermined time period by operating the operation means once, and power supply is stopped after a lapse of the predetermined time period.
