Title:
METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING RADIOACTIVE NUCLIDE ADHESION TO CARBON STEEL MEMBER OF NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/176264
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a method for suppressing radioactive nuclide adhesion to a carbon steel member of a nuclear power plant, the method making it possible to reduce the number of steps. In this method, a film formation device is connected to a carbon steel pipe of a purification system of a stopped nuclear power plant (S1). An aqueous oxalic acid solution is used for reduction decontamination of the purification system pipe (S2). After some of the oxalic acid has decomposed (S3B), an aqueous film formation solution formed through the injection of Ni ions (S4) is supplied to the purification system pipe, and a Ni metallic film is formed on the inner surface of the purification system pipe. Subsequently, an aqueous solution including Ni ions, Pt ions, and hydrazine is supplied from a circulation pipe to the purification system pipe, and Pt particles including Ni metal adhere to the Ni metallic film (S4-S6). The film formation device is removed from the purification system pipe (S15), and the nuclear power plant is started (S16). Contact with oxygen-containing reactor water between 130°C and 330°C (S12) causes the Ni metallic film having the Pt particles adhered thereto to change to a stable Ni ferrite film with no elution even under Pt action.
