Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a system for maximizing an interval for overhauling an engine by minimizing the wear of a two object friction system due to abrasion, particularly by minimizing the wear of the internal combustion engine between the cylinder and the piston thereof to maximize the reliability of the internal combustion engine. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The friction system in which a lubricating oil is interposed between two objects to suppress the wear of an abrasive surface due to abrasion in the cyclic relative motion of the two objects in contact with each other is characterized in that insoluble contents conditioned to come within the range of a specified optimum percentage content are contained in the lubricating oil according to the maximum rotational speed of the relative motion and that state is maintained.
