Abstract:
Provided are a method for switching an access point, a controller, a network device and a computer readable storage medium. The method comprises: a controller determining, according to the minimum value in a plurality of a round trip times (RTT) of a terminal, an RTT reference value; and if a switching condition based on a difference between a real-time RTT and the RTT reference value is satisfied, the controller instructing an access point (AP) currently connected to the terminal to send a channel switching declaration to the terminal, wherein the channel switching declaration instructs the terminal to switch a work channel to a work channel of a next AP. After using the embodiment of the present invention, on the basis of improving the accuracy of an RTT reference value, a terminal is capable of switching an access point timely.
