Abstract:
The invention relates to the field of household appliances. Provided are a method for switching a channel according to a gesture and a remote control. The method comprises: storing a gesture preset by a user and a command corresponding to the gesture (S101); reading a gesture inputted by the user (S102); determining whether there exists a command corresponding to the gesture inputted by the user (S103); if so, issuing the corresponding command (S104); and if not, issuing no command (S105). A remote control provided with the gesture recognition design enables switching channels or adjusting volumes in a more intuitive and user-friendly manner.
