Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing cross-linked hyaluronic acid nanoparticles, comprising irradiating a hyaluronic acid aqueous solution with an electron beam so as to form an intermolecular or intramolecular cross-link of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid nanoparticles having various nano-meter sizes could be reproducibly and uniformly synthesized under an optimized electron beam condition, and provided is a use of the synthesized hyaluronic acid nanoparticles as a therapeutic agent and as a contrast medium for identifying skin permeability through fluorescent labeling and diagnosing tumors by means of radioactive labeling.
