Abstract:
Provided is a method for synthesizing triethylsilane, which method comprises: reacting sodium hydride with trimethyl borate to prepare sodium trimethoxyborohydride; and adding triethylchlorosilane to the sodium trimethoxyborohydride, and reacting same to obtain triethylsilane, wherein byproducts are sodium chloride and trimethyl borate. Provided is the method for synthesizing triethylsilane, wherein sodium hydride with a price far lower than that of sodium borohydride or lithium aluminum hydride is used as a starting material, sodium trimethoxyborohydride is prepared at first and then reacts with triethyl chlorosilane to obtain triethylsilane, such that not only can the preparation cost of triethylsilane be reduced by 30% or more, but byproducts such as boron trichloride or aluminum trichloride are also not generated, being more environmentally friendly.
