A method, system and apparatus for controlling a home appliance, and a home appliance. The method comprises: acquiring at least one piece of operation data of a home appliance (S102); processing the at least one piece of operation data of the home appliance on the basis of a prediction model to generate the prediction result (104), the prediction result comprising: at least one control instruction for the home appliance; the prediction model being a model generated by training sample data of the home appliance; and controlling the home appliance to operate on the basis of the prediction result (S106).
