Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method, a system and an apparatus for a Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) media gateway to obtain voice resources. The method includes: the VOIP media gateway receives a user request, and transmits a download request to an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) server according to the user request; according to the download request, the IVR server transmits voice resources to the VOIP media gateway for storing. By the VOIP media gateway downloading voice resources of the IVR server, the invention not only can update voice resources timely, but also can store the downloaded voice resources in the VOIP media gateway, so as to reduce the communication between the VOIP media gateway and the IVR server effectively.
