Abstract:
A method and system for assisting a blood cell analyzer in determining abnormal platelet aggregation. The method comprises the following steps: S1, placing a blood sample into a blood cell analyzer for platelet counting; S2, when the blood cell analyzer gives an abnormality alarm, reading a platelet count value b per liter of a sample on the analyzer; S3, making a blood smear of the sample for which an alarm is given and carrying out microscopic examination, and reading a platelet aggregation value a obtained after the microscopic examination and a visual field number n under the visual field of a microscope oil immersion objective; S4, calculating a platelet aggregation index c according to the following equation: c=(a×1014)/(b×n); and S5, setting a threshold of c, when the value of c is greater than the threshold, determining that the sample is positive, and when the value of c is smaller than or equal to the threshold, determining that the sample is negative. Compared with the prior art, the method has the following remarkable advantages: by calculating the platelet aggregation index c, the error rate of platelet aggregation abnormality alarming of the blood cell analyzer can be remarkably reduced, examination reagent consumption is reduced, the examination efficiency is improved, and the method is a beneficial supplement to existing platelet counting methods.
