Abstract:
An authentication system is provided, comprising: a device authentication agent, which is installed in an Internet of Things (IoT) device in which a communication module is mounted, for generating first device authentication information for authentication of the IoT device; an authentication server, which is connected to the IoT device via wired or wireless communication, for generating second device authentication information for the authentication of the IoT device; and a mobile agent, which is installed in a user's mobile device and connected to the IoT device and the authentication server through wireless communication, for verifying the IoT device or the authenticity of a message that is determined to be received from the IoT device, on the basis of whether or not the first device authentication information sent from the IoT device matches the second device authentication information sent from the authentication server.
