A method and system for calculating a speed in a tennis match. The method includes the following steps: obtaining a moving trajectory of a tennis ball (101); calculating a speed of the tennis ball according to the moving trajectory and a running time (102); displaying the speed (103). The method and system mentioned above have the advantage of having an accurate speed.
