Abstract:
A method for charging in roaming, configurating a proxy CRF in a PLMN, when a terminal uses a payload resource or packet data services in visiting PLMN, the proxy CRF provides a selecting charging rule information for a CRF which the terminal is attributed to, the attributed CRF selects a charging rule according to the selecting charging rule information, the attributed CRF provides a charging rule information for a TPF which serves the terminal. A system for roaming includes: a TPF, a attributed CRF in a PLMN which a terminal is attributed to and a proxy CRF in other PLMN, the attributed CRF is in connection with the proxy CRF, for transmitting a selecting charging rule information; the TPF is in connection with the attributed CRF or the proxy CRF, for requesting and providing a charging rule. When a terminal in roaming uses a payload resource or packet data services in visiting PLMN, based on the FBC mechanism the method and system can solve the addressing problem between the function entities during charging by the service data stream.
