Abstract:
The invention discloses a method and system for clock synchronization of Broadband over Power Line (BPL) nodes, and also discloses a management node. The method includes: A master clock is set as the management node of a power line network, after an ordinary node which needs to synchronize its clock identifies the master clock according to an announce message sent by said management node, the ordinary node acting as a slave clock requests a fixed transmission opportunity from the management node; the management node includes a synchronization message into a transmission opportunity allocation message broadcasted periodically, and includes the fixed transmission opportunity allocated for the ordinary node into the latest transmission opportunity allocation message, and then sends the message to the ordinary node; when the ordinary node receives the synchronization message, the ordinary node sends a delay measurement request message on the fixed transmission opportunity allocated. The invention reduces the interval between the sending timestamp of an IEEE 1588 message and the actual time of arrival at the power line network of the IEEE 1588 message, and improves the precision of IEEE 1588 clock synchronization.
