Abstract:

The disclosed method and system prevent communication interference between wireless communication networks and allow coexistence in a communication space by time partitioning or frequency partitioning. By means of accessing a CMDB (2) in which are stored at least position information, channel information and coexistence methods of other wireless communication networks (3), one wireless communication network (3) determines for each channel the amount of interference with said other wireless communication networks (3), selects, on the basis of the amount of interference determined for each channel, another wireless communication network (3) trying to coexist, the coexistence channels, and the coexistence methods thereof, updates the CMDB (2) to reflect the same, and sends to the CMDB (2) a signal requesting coexistence to said selected other wireless communication network; said selected other wireless communication network (3), upon accessing the CMDB (2) and obtaining the coexistence request, controls so as to allow coexistence in a communication space on the basis of the channels and the coexistence methods thereof updated in the CMDB (2).
