Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and a system for conducting a conference by using an avatar. A method for conducting a conference according to an embodiment may comprise the steps of: establishing a communication session for a conference in which a plurality of users participate through a server; transmitting, to the server, an identifier of an avatar to be expressed in a virtual space for the conference and coordinate information of the avatar in the virtual space; receiving, from the server, resources of nearby avatars selected on the basis of the coordinate information; transmitting motion data of the avatar to the server through the communication session; receiving motion data of the nearby avatars from the server through the communication session; and expressing the nearby avatars in the virtual space on the basis of the resources of the nearby avatars and the motion data of the nearby avatars.
