Abstract:
A method for controlling a household appliance on the basis of intent recognition, comprising: obtaining multimodal information of a user (S101); recognizing a user intent according to the multimodal information (S102); and controlling a household appliance according to the multimodal information of the user and the user intent in combination with a life timeline (300) (S103). In this way, user intents, for example, the user wants to rest, work, watch TV or the like, can be recognized according to one or more types of the multimodal information of the user, such as user's speech, a user's expression, and a user's action. Then, a household appliance is controlled according to the multimodal information of the user and the user intent in combination with the life timeline (300) (S103), so that automatic adjustment of the household appliance is more intelligent. By applying artificial intelligence to intelligent home to more conveniently and accurately control the household appliances, people's daily life becomes more convenient, the life fun and interactivity can be enhanced to make the life more colorful. Moreover, the robot is more humanized, and user experience of the artificial intelligence on intelligent home aspect is also improved.
