The present invention relates to a shooting game control method and, more specifically, to a method and a system for controlling a specific character shooting event in a shooting game which, as a method for a point game in which a particular portion of a character is shot, progresses as a plurality of gamers shoot particular portions in a network online shooting game which progresses with continuity. The present invention designates a particular game character to set an event, wherein a particular portion of the character and other portions thereof are separated as shooting objects to set each event. When gamers shoot general portions, events are accumulated, and when gamers shoot particular portions, all the predetermined events and accumulated events are provided. Accordingly, an event is designated as a shooting object in a shooting game, thereby further increasing a user's concentration on the game. In addition, events are provided when only particular portions of a character are shot, such that competition between each gamer is strong. As such, provided are a method and a system for controlling a specific character shooting event in a shooting game, which enable a shooting game, which can further increase the excitement of a shooting game, to be operated and advertisement sales business in association therewith to be conducted.
