Disclosed is a method for determining a pseudo base station. The method comprises: S101. a mobile terminal scanning a peripheral base station so as to acquire network frequency band information corresponding to the peripheral base station, and carrying out a registration operation on a corresponding base station based on the network frequency band information; S102. the mobile terminal sending a data request message to a mobile network terminal corresponding to the registered base station, and acquiring a relevant feedback parameter of the mobile network terminal regarding the data request message; and S103. the mobile terminal carrying out an authenticity determination operation on the registered base station thereof based on the relevant feedback parameter. Further disclosed is a system for determining a pseudo base station. The present invention can provide an efficient and simple method for determining a pseudo base station.
