A method and a system which are related to the network management and communication technical field for developing and installing the network management features of services are provided to solve the problem of existing technology that the developed services can not be managed directly by network management system. The method includes: network management feature developing device receives the customized information of self-defined network management features of the services when developing the service and generates the configuration file of the network management features of the services based on the customized information, so that the network management system can parse and manage the services based on the configuration file of the network management features, thereby, the network application period of customized developing service and the complexity of network management system matching the customized developing service are both reduced.
