Abstract:
A method, system, and device of location capability negotiation in WiMAX network are
provided, in which they make WiMAX network select suitable locating method according
to the location capability of terminal. The method of location capability negotiation
in WiMAX network, includes: the network entity of access service network (ASN)
receives the associated information of location capability of the terminal
from the terminal or network entity of connectivity service network (CSN); after
receiving the associated information of location capability, the network entity
of ASN stores the associated information of location capability. The embodiment
is suitable for WiMAX network.
