Abstract:
A method, system and device for protecting the line ring are disclosed. The method includes: receiving the information about line fault (s201); updating bandwidth topology to distribute the protection bandwidth in the line ring to the service in the protected work bandwidth (s202); transmitting the updated bandwidth topology (s203); transmitting the bridge request (s204). In the embodiments of the present invention, by the main node, the management control function of the network is realized, and the bridge and switch of the sub-node are controlled, which reduces the complexity of the function of each node in the network and the cost for network maintenance.
