Abstract:
A method for realizing signal pause includes the following steps: a Media Gateway
receives pause information indicating to make a pause for resource operation
from a Media Gateway Controller (s201); the Media Gateway makes a pause for the
resource operation according to the pause information (s202). A device for realizing
signal pause is provided in the invention. In the embodiment of the invention,
the MGC can perform pause operation for signals on a certain terminal or stream,
or with respect to a certain media resource or a signal list.
