Abstract:
Provided are a method and system for dynamically adjusting a pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal, and a system for dynamically controlling a high-power lamp, the method steps comprising: presetting a standard signal period and a standard duty cycle of an effective pulse; receiving and comparing a target duty cycle entered by a user with the standard duty cycle; if the target duty cycle is less than the standard duty cycle, then keeping the duration of the effective pulse constant, and adjusting the signal period duration relative to the standard signal period so that the duty cycle reaches the target duty cycle, and generating a corrected PWM signal according to the adjusted signal period duration and the target duty cycle; if the target duty cycle is greater than the standard duty cycle, then keeping the duration of the standard signal period constant, adjusting the effective-pulse duration so that the duty cycle reaches the target duty cycle, and generating a corrected PWM signal according to the standard signal period duration and the target duty cycle; if the target duty cycle is equal to the standard duty cycle, then generating a corrected PWM signal according to the standard duty cycle and the standard signal period duration; preventing the problems of flickering when a camera is photographing, or non-smooth dimming, when the duty cycle is adjusted.
