Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a method and system for employing the Bhattacharyya parameter to construct polar codes. The method comprises: performing linear combination and splitting operations on bit information having a predetermined encoding length to obtain correlated bit channels; performing polarization computation on the bit channels to obtain the Bhattacharyya parameter of odd-numbered channels and the Bhattacharyya parameter of even-numbered channels; sampling and extracting, according to sets corresponding to the Bhattacharyya parameter of the odd-numbered channels, 5 types of parameter expressions; performing polar code construction on the 5 types of the parameter expressions to obtain linked lists corresponding to the 5 types of the parameter expressions, respectively; and decoding, according to an SCL-CRC algorithm, the linked lists respectively corresponding to the 5 types of the parameter expressions to acquire a parameter expression having the lowest bit error rate and block error rate as a coding construction parameter. The present invention achieves a low bit error rate and block error rate while providing low computational complexity.
