A method, system and equipment of implementing data forwarding during switching process of a user equipment, which can improve the switching speed of the user equipment under a relay node, decrease data losing rate when switching. The method includes: when a home base station of a source relay node confirms the user equipment is going to switch, informing the source relay node which the user equipment belongs to the end position of the downlink data of the user equipment which needs the source relay node to forward; sending the downlink data of the user equipment which is forwarded from the source relay node, downlink data of the user equipment which is cached currently and has not be sent to the source relay node and downlink data of the user equipment which is received from core network subsequently to a target node.
