Abstract:
Provided is a technology which can maximize the efficiency of an electronic document generation provision service, by providing a technology in which, while an existing low-end scanner is used, the process speed can be maximized, the manpower consumed can be minimized, and an electronic document generation process can be continued relatively normally even when the scanner is out of order. A method for generating an electronic document using a parallel scanning method according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step in which a managing server receives, from a plurality of scanners, image data comprising a scanned image of each of a plurality of pages constituting at least one document; a step in which the managing server sets identification data for identifying each of the plurality of pages for each image data whenever the image data is received; and a step in which the managing server generates an electronic document by combining a plurality of image data which are determined to constitute a single document on the basis of the identification data which has been set for each image data.
