Abstract:
Embodiments herein disclose a method to identify an activity of a user. The method comprises obtaining sensor data from a plurality of sensors of the electronic device (100) operating in a synchronous mode, wherein the synchronous mode configures each of the plurality of sensors in a first configuration. The method also includes determining an activity class based on the sensor data obtained from each of the sensors and configuring the electronic device (100) in an asynchronous mode based on the activity class. The method also includes obtaining sensor data from the at least one candidate sensor and identifying at least one activity, from the plurality of candidate activities, currently performed by user based on the sensor data obtained from the at least one candidate sensor.
