Abstract:
Provided in embodiments of the present disclosure are a method and system for identifying a coverage black hole of a wireless cell. The method comprising: using a probe deployed between an access network and a core network so as to collect control plane data and user plane data within a detection region; according to the collected control plane data and user plane data, identifying a wireless cell which has a coverage black hole within the detection region as well as location information of the coverage black hole within the wireless cell. In embodiments of the present disclosure, the problem of a coverage black hole of a wireless cell can be promptly discovered, and the location of the coverage black hole can be positioned, thereby greatly reducing the operation and maintenance costs of a wireless network.
