Abstract:
The embodiments of the invention provide a method and system for implementing multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO). The method comprises: connecting two access points supporting MU-MIMO to form a stacked virtual access point; configuring an active access point and a standby access point in the stacked virtual access point; carrying out access point configuration on the active access point, and synchronizing the configuration of the active access point to the standby access point; and scheduling, by the active access point, all antennas of the stacked virtual access point. On the premise of not consuming more wireless spectrum resources, the embodiments of the present invention improve the wireless throughput.
