Abstract:
Provided are a method and system for maintaining an IP address in a network link. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a message sent by a first device, the message including a first IP address of the first device; adding the number of data packets to packet header fields of the data packets; and receiving another message sent by the first device, identifying a second IP address of the other message, and determining that an IP address of the first device is successfully changed. The technical solution provided in the present invention has the advantage of good user experience.
