Disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention are a method and system for managing smart door access on the basis of dual fingerprints, said method comprising: a remote monitoring server receiving a registration request inputted by a user; matching with the identity information in said registration request according to pre-stored community resident information; if matching is successful, then accepting the registration request and allocating a single-use registration key for the user; the smart door access receiving the registration key inputted by the user and prompting the user to input a first registration password containing dual fingerprints and a second registration password containing a knock password, said second registration password comprising a knock password for knocking, within a preset period of time, on a first area of the smart door access a first preset number of times and knocking on a second area of the smart door access a second preset number of times; if it is necessary to activate the smart door access, the smart door access receiving the first registration password and the second registration password inputted by the user and, after authentication, allowing the user to enter. Using the present invention improves the security and convenience of smart door access.
