Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for measuring the thickness of coating of a steel plate: measuring an outer radius R of a steel coil formed by band steel with a coating, and an inner radius R0 of the steel coil; and obtaining the thickness of the coating Tcoating based on Tcoating=π/4 (R2-R0
2)/L-Tband steel, where the outer radius R, the inner radius R0, the length L, the thickness of the band steel Tband steel, and the thickness of the coating Tcoating all have the same unit parameter. Also disclosed is a measurement system used in the method for measuring the thickness of coating of a steel plate, comprising a band steel thickness measurement apparatus which is arranged upstream in a coating machine along a conveyance direction of the band steel and is used for measuring the thickness of the band steel Tband steel; a band steel length measurement apparatus for measuring the length L of the band steel forming the steel coil; a steel coil size measurement apparatus for measuring an outer radius and inner radius R0 of the steel coil; and a control apparatus respectively connected to the band steel thickness measurement apparatus, the band steel length measurement apparatus and the steel coil size measurement apparatus to receive data transmitted thereby and calculate the thickness of the coating Tcoating.
