Abstract:
A method and system for measuring a regular three-dimensional object. By means of the method and system, the measurement of packing boxes of various sizes can be completed flexibly and portably, the measurement speed is high, and measurement costs are low. The method comprises: closely attaching a reference scaleplate to at least one outline of a regular three-dimensional object (101); obtaining a first image comprising the regular three-dimensional object and the reference scaleplate (102); performing graphic vision analysis processing on the first image, and obtaining image lengths of the outlines of the regular three-dimensional object and of the outlines of the reference scaleplate (103); and obtaining the volume of the regular three-dimensional object on the basis of a preset actual length of the reference scaleplate, the image length of the outlines of the reference scaleplate, and the image length of the outlines of the three-dimensional object (104).
