Abstract:
The invention provides a method and system for measuring a width of a cut tobacco piece or cut stem, and a server having the system. The method for measuring a width of a cut tobacco piece or cut stem comprises: preprocessing a collected original image of a cut tobacco piece or cut stem to generate a preprocessed image of the cut tobacco piece or cut stem, wherein the original image of the cut tobacco piece or cut stem comprises at least one cut tobacco piece or cut stem; performing form segmentation on each cut tobacco piece or cut stem in the preprocessed image of the cut tobacco piece or cut stem, and performing line detection on the image of the cut tobacco piece or cut stem after form segmentation to detect a pixel width of each cut tobacco piece or cut stem; and converting the pixel width of each cut tobacco piece or cut stem to a predicted width of the cut tobacco piece or cut stem. The invention prevents a problem of instability when solving a center line caused by local noise, ensures the precision of a width of the cut tobacco piece or cut stem, can rapidly detect an actual average width of each cut tobacco piece or cut stem, and enables samples to be sufficiently representative.
