Abstract:
A method, system, network side equipment and User Equipment (UE) for managing Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) membership are disclosed in the present invention. The method includes the following steps that: after a UE has resided in a CSG cell and has established a default bearer, a network side detects whether there is a change of the CSG membership of the UE; when the change of the CSG membership of the UE is detected, the network side triggers Detach procedure between the network side and the UE via a pathway existing between the network side and the UE, and indicates status information of the CSG membership of the UE, wherein the status information is used to allow the UE to perform operation with respect to the change of the CSG membership according to the status information. In the embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to enable the network side to manage the CSG membership of the UE by triggering Detach procedure after the UE has accessed the CSG cell in an emergent manner and the CSG membership has changed, so as to ensures that the UE reconnects to the CSG cell and manages a local Allowed CSG List (ACL).
