Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of GMP mapping. Disclosed are a method and system for performing low-latency GMP mapping using adaptive control of a state machine. The method comprises the following steps: automatically sensing, on the basis of an adaptive mechanism of a GMP mapping state machine, frequency offsets of services at input and output sides of a GMP mapping, so as to perform switching between GMP mapping states and control of a FIFO threshold. The invention can minimize the depth of a FIFO, thereby maximally meeting requirements for low latency performance.
