Abstract:
Provided in one embodiment of the present invention is a method by which a processor of a server communicatively linked to a terminal provides corporate investment information through patent quality evaluation. The present method comprises the steps of: calculating the numerical value of each of a plurality of patent quality indicators for registered valid patents, and performing a first main component analysis on the calculated numerical values so as to select a plurality of main quality indicators from among the patent quality indicators; calculating the numerical values of the main quality indicators for patents to be analyzed, of which the rights have not expired for a specific period, from among the valid patents, calculating weights for calculating patent scores, on the basis of main component indicators obtained by performing a second main component analysis on the calculated numerical values, and calculating, on the basis of the corresponding weights and the numerical values of the main quality indicators for the patents to be analyzed, the patent scores of the patents to be analyzed; calculating weights for calculating patent indexes, on the basis of the market size of the technical field to which the patents to be analyzed belong, and calculating a company-specific patent index by adding the weights for calculating patent indexes to the patent scores; and deriving the ratio of market capitalization to patent index for each company by using the company-specific market capitalization and the company-specific patent quality.
